good writing but moved fast

F/F erotic romance

Set in Australia, two women meet in an Instagram photography group and partner up for a task. Lesbian Chloe Bevan is just visiting from Brisbane and only temporarily in Melbourne on other personal business. But when she pairs up with Evie Fallon (her straight roommate's sister)... she is instantly and lustfully enamored. Sharing an artistic connection and a mutual sense of lust, these two move in pretty quick to seal the deal. And a trite misunderstanding or two isn't going to keep these two apart. Fairly predictable. Well, the Instagram stuff was a new element. The sex scenes were on the graphic side but there was definitely a blossoming romance here.

Technically, the writing is actually pretty excellent. I like a writer who is descriptive with leads and movement. Especially one who seems to appreciate boobs! But I would have liked a few more details like hair color/style and age. I love stuff like that. Despite the good writing I wasn't all that engaged with the chemistry. I kept wondering what was off. Maybe it just moved too fast for my tastes, I don't know. Maybe a little more sensuality was needed. By the end I was a little more interested in these two. It's pretty simple and cute on the whole, and certainly worth the price... something was just missing for me. I need a stronger build up and seldom get into stories when the hook up is too soon. hmm. Come to think of it... that's what I didn't like much about her other stories. But Taming the Boss worked for me because it was longer and so you still got time to get to know the leads. Not here. Gotta pass on the Instasex.

She really should put out a novel.

This is a cute and somewhat erotic short story.

Chloe is in Melbourne to deposit the ashes of a dear friend of hers. That's not the most erotic background to set a love story to but her roommate back in Brisbane has told her to stop by and see her sister, Evie, while she's in town. Upon meeting, Chloe is immediately attracted and an amusing flirtation ensues that blossoms into a love story.

Like Camryn Eyde's other short stories, there is some humor present along with an elicit sex scene. Eyde does both of these well and is really good at depicting natural interactions.

Good read.

MARK DALY is a writer and publisher with a longstanding interest in secret and little-known aspects of London. He has also devised a number of London walking tours, focussing on little-known or unusual aspects of the city. His previous book with Dazely is the acclaimed Unseen London.PETER DAZELEY, known as Dazeley, was born in West Kensington and studied photography at Holland Park School, now known as the 'Socialist Eton'. His work has won many awards from organisations across the world, including the Association of Photographers and the Royal Photographic Society in the UK, EPICA in France, Applied Arts Magazine in Canada, and Graphis Inc. in the USA . Dazeley is one of the few modern photographers whose fine art work is produced as platinum prints.Dazeley became a member of the Association of Photographers in 1977 and became a life member in 1984. In June 2013 he was awarded a Fellowship by the Royal Photographic Society. Fellowship is the highest distinction of the RPS and recognizes original work and outstanding ability. He is the photographer of Unseen London (Frances Lincoln, 2014).

A must have for every London lover!

Photographer Dazeley's love affair with London is contagious. A wonderful follow up to Unseen London, this beautiful 300 plus page tome highlights 60 lesser known but easily accessible sites in the capital. Mark Daly's incisive, historical often anecdotal commentary complements the stunning photographs. A must have for any ex pat, like myself, of for those who simply love London.

I can't stop looking at this book! the pictures are amazing and the written descriptions tell fascinating stories of places I never knew about in London. I love the way the book is organized. There are so many photos. Some of the outdoor shots are framed perfectly; one of my favorites is the Strawberry Hill house exterior with clouds behind it so perfectly captured!

About the Author

Professor Noureddine Boudriga is an internationally known scientist/academic. He received his Ph.D. in algebraic topology from the University of Paris (France) and his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Tunis (Tunisia). He is currently a professor of telecommunications at the University of Carthage, Tunisia, and the director of the Communication Networks and Security Research Laboratory (CNAS).

Dr. Boudriga is the recipient of the Tunisian Presidential Award in Science and Research (2004). He has served as the general director and founder of the Tunisian National Digital Certification Agency. He has been very actively involved in research and has authored or co-authored many chapters and books, including more than 250 published journal and conference papers. Prof. Boudriga is the President of the Tunisia Scientific Telecommunications Society.

Only buy this book for very basic information about oxy-acetylene welding. There's little or no info about MIG/TIG and arc welding.

As an experienced welder, I found this book disturbing, due to inaccuracies. I am certain Mr. Geary meant well, and did his best to present the subject matter. That said, if you look at his other titles you will find that he writes on a wide variety of subjects. He is a professional writer, not a welding professional. Welding safety is paramount, taking precedent over skill acquisition, and I would NOT trust my learning to this book. There are far better books out there. Start with the literature offered by the welding manufacturers, and go next to authors who are also professionals in the field. Nothing can take the place of qualified live instruction-see your local community college or high school extension classes, and if you must learn from a book, research the author and publisher first, don't rely on a single book, and establish a relationship with a welding supply house. Sears,(and similiar general suppliers) where Mr.Geary acknowledged for the equipment in many of his illustrations, is a poor choice of supplies as they can answer few questions, and may even, as Mr. Geary has done, offer inaccurate advice.
